Predestination can be a doctrinal challenge to many people. In my personal study today I had the following thought and decided to share.
Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son…
In context I believe Paul is saying God foreknow who would accept Jesus as Savior. Based on that knowledge He predestined them to service and Sonship. So predestination is not about God choosing certain individuals, but using the knowledge of the individual's future choice (freewill).
